Editorial & Disclosure

Useful guidance starts with being clear about what an article knows, what it illustrates and how the site earns money.

Original content

Room to Breathe articles are written for this blog. We do not republish other writers' articles or disguise copied material by changing words. Checklists, examples and explanations should add a practical next step for the reader.

Planning guides and product reviews

A planning guide explains how to think through a space or a purchase. It is not evidence that we have tested a specific product. Any future product coverage will distinguish documented hands-on experience from research based on manufacturer information.

We do not invent test results, customer quotations, ratings or personal experience. Product dimensions and care or safety limits should be checked against the manufacturer's current instructions.

Images and illustrative concepts

We use original or appropriately licensed visual material. An AI-generated room or illustration is identified as a concept. It should not be interpreted as a photograph of a real room, an exact product, or proof that a layout has been measured or tested.

Advertising and affiliate links

At launch, this blog does not display advertising or include affiliate product links. If we add a commercial relationship, we will explain it clearly near the relevant recommendation or link and update this page.

We will not describe the blog as an Amazon Associate unless it actually participates in the program. A future affiliate relationship will not turn a planning concept into a tested product recommendation.

Corrections and updates

Information can change. When a guide needs a material correction, the article should be updated and the change made clear. A measurement example is an illustration; always check your own room, furniture and household needs before acting on it.
